Why bother to drag it on the ground? Instead, you can throw it at a ref. The kinetic energy from the flight will be suddenly transferred into the battery upon impact and the judges rage will charge it even further.
ah yes. just remember to cnc your lexan into a wireless power converter to transfer the power to your robot.
Most importantly, only transport your robots in
- Tall unsupported stacks of boxes
- Underneath every other robot
- Tall unsupported stacks of boxes
Boxes? Just stack the bots on top of each other.
Or stack them on top of your sleeping mentor
Please tell me you actually did this.
I put 2 robots on his lap while he was passed out in the passengers seat. He was having a bad migraine day and had gone out to the van to rest midway through the comp. He was out cold when we got in so I used him for bot storage.
to test the strength of your drive, try using your finger to stop the gears. do not consider that your finger will likely be sucked into the gearbox and subsequently annihilated.
If you use low strength gears, you might be able to cut it like a janky saw
don’t change your robot design … EVER
i have done this at my first comp ever i won but the ref tried to dq me because i “accidentally” ripped out the opponents wires. i raged and threw the controller on the ground but it hit him in the foot and we got dq’d i swear i saw tears tho
Oh yes that was the right thing to do

That’s why you don’t retroactively take advice from this thread. When you do something stupid, you’re gonna get banned.
Just like this.
save auton code for last minute ( at the competition )
you guys have an auton?
I just bum rush the other bots since we are in low budget battlebots
You get bonus points for crossing the line during auton.
DQ stands for Direct Qualification(for worlds) so get as many as possible
No it means Dairy queen
the refs are giving out dairy queen treats because your doing so well
