What part would you like vex to start making

A rotation sensor for Vex IQ, and smaller Omni wheels for vex iq odometery!

I thought it would work better than that, come on vex were not that dum

So you aren’t supposed to use a code block when you want it to render properly. You just paste it in. The code block is for sharing code, not rendering it.

for example,

<h><b>Agreed!</b> <h>
<p> This would be <b>so</b> useful for making a robot that stays together during long flights!<p>

would render
"Agreed!

This would be so useful for making a robot that stays together during long flights!"

It would be nice to have a type of PET sheet that had holes all over, it just on the edges.

waterproof parts…

water game 2026??

How are we not done with this?

The water game never dies…

Don’t forget that according to an old thread from 2019, a time traveler from 2027 said we had water game 2026, aka THIS YEAR

I BELIEVE

Ai sensor with wifi just like the regular vision sensor

A motor with more power that doesn’t overheat as easily but counts as two.

A more powerful VIQ motor?

or is this spill into the V5 requests. (If it’s V5 there is two classes of motors, 5 and 11W.
Neither one will over heat with the correct gearing used with them)

If there was a 3rd generation brain coming out and you could pick any feature what would you add to the brain?

A more powerful VIQ motor?

Yes, a more powerful VIQ motor.

Probably better computing and stuff so you can run doom on it like they have on the v5 brain

I think Doom runs on V2 brain (can I get a confirm?) So maybe at my final event we will run “Doom vs Doom” across lunch,

V5: Thin gears that are compatible with high strength axles

All I can find with a very basic top level Google search is this, which is v5. I would love to be wrong!

Full microPython support (which for some of the data things would require more memory)

I’d like to see a generic API that supports LED strips.

I’d like to see a VEX IQ dongle that lets me take multiwire and shove it into the very hard to find, very hard to crimp to connector

Well ahead of LEGO the VEX mechanical infrastructure and Sensors is just awesome.

But the ability to add external electronics is super hard. And while I can 3D print VEX axles to Lego Axles, it would be nice to have them, And yes, I do know that the pin spacing is a little different, So bridge ports would be good.

Shapes would be good

What I really want is a 2x202 beam (which is a double thick 2x20 beam) and along the thick edge, I want pin holes. So you can pin to the flat side and to the thick side. (Why these don’t exist now is a mystery to me)

I have V5 stuff:

  • Air pump (a part powered by a rotational or linear input that can recharge pneumatic tanks. Includes a pressure sensor and valve to prevent it from putting too much air into the tank, with a configurable shutoff, so it can be told to stop putting air in at X psi, where X is an integer value between 1 and 100.) It would be relatively balanced as you’d have to sacrifice some motor power to run it
  • High strength worm gears and bevel gears (plus maybe differentials? idk I’ve never seen one used)
  • Rack gear V3
  • Planetary gear annulus (ring gear). I know there are ways to get around using one, but they’re complex and less space efficient
  • #8-32 couplers but with a small metal ring in the middle so they can’t get stuck all the way inside a standoff
  • More durable battery clips
  • Cooling fans (I’m convinced I could cook an egg on a motor sometimes)
  • LED light (configurable, can use it so the robot can communicate to the driver. ex: a light on the left turns red when the red left side auton is selected)
