We are working diligently to get these released ASAP. The update I received today is that V5RC is a bit ahead of IQ, but both sets are on track to need just a bit more work done before we are comfortable with release. Main step creation seems to be complete, we are adding part call-outs, build tips, and additional supplementary views to steps that are more detailed.
As for parts that may be valuable to add to V1 kits to enable the Hero Build, you’ll likely want to look at the following:
- 228-7887 Linear Motion Pack (Rack and Pinion used for first stage of elevator)
- 228-7884 Winch and Rope Pack (Rope used to ‘Cascade’ the second stage)
- 228-3512 Specialty Beam Pack (Angled Beams used in Claw)
- 228-2534 Chain & Sprocket Kit (power transfer from motor to Pinion for elevator)
- 228-7456 Motor Shaft Add On Pack
- 228-7457 Short Capped Shaft Add On Pack
- and/or 228-3620 Plastic Shaft Base Pack
- Restocking on various Beams and Connectors will likely be valuable as well.
