Not entirely on topic but I am pining to see what a wall of ever VEX part looks like, I’m imagining Lego designer office/pick a brick level of cool and a photo would be an amazing wallpaper! Just saying…

What do you do for your storage (2022 edition)

Hundreds of drawers with each part, in each color permutation, labeled with Part Numbers & ISO pictures of each part. Many drawers have multiple parts or same part, different color. Once you get used to working on what we call the “parts wall” for long enough, you don’t even pay attention to the label, though. I could probably walk into our lab blind-folded and find the drawer for 228-2500-143 Shaft Collars . [image]

It’s very “pick-a-brick”-y. Every drawer has 2-3 VEX IQ Parts in them, sorted in order of part number. We have every color of almost every single part ready to use in a drawer, and anything not in a drawer is stored in one of 600 totes of parts in storage. I’d posit we have hundreds of thousands of VEX IQ parts at the US office (not including the warehouse!), maybe more.
