I did not follow since the last season ended, except for seeing some emails. What is the latest status? Where and how are robotics teams going to compete this season? Thanks.
If you are talking about the VEX REC split, it is up to the teams. It appears most are going with VEX and global for this year. The real debate happens towards the end of the season. If you are undecided, I would suggest seeing how many tournaments are offered in your area. It will likely help you decide for this season. If you have teams or schools you are close to, I would talk to them about next season more towards the end of the year.
For our program we are doing rec. I believe the only reason is because of the money grants that they give out to programs. But, from what I have seen, I have seen very little comps for our region.
