Why is SNAPCAD so weird? I genuinely need help

Now I’ve stumbled SnapCAD this month, and ever since, and I’ve been simply trying to figure the controls for such a long time. All I’ve made is a motor connected to a wheel. If someone could give me some tips on when to use the 80,000 icons on the top.

Hello!

SnapCAD’s toolbar can look overwhelming, but you only need a handful of icons to get started. Focus on the part library to drag in VEX IQ components, then use the move, rotate, and snap tools to position and connect them. Most of the other icons are for advanced features like layering, exporting, or generating build instructions, so ignore them until you’re comfortable. Begin with simple builds like a motor and wheel, save often, and add complexity step by step—this way the controls will feel less cluttered and more purposeful.
