Vex is a copy of scratch, do they even have copyright to just steal all of the blocks, colours and looks? Can someone explain to me?

VEXcode uses the block engine from scratch. Scratch is based on blockly. Both are open source projects released under permissive licenses. You can read all about it here.
Many companies have used scratch-blocks as the basis for simple block based programming environments.

The underlying block engine is under a MIT open source license. So it’s licensed to a large number of software projects. So all the blocks, colors, looks are part of the license.
You come across as upset about this, is there a reason?
