How strict are the word counts? Do they include titles, etc? What is the penalty for going over?

Hi Sankey, the judges evaluate entries based on the word counts outlined in the Requirements section of each challenge. Word counts include body copy, but do not include titles or image captions. If you go over the required word count, you risk point deductions against your entry score, or in some cases disqualification, depending on the challenge and outlined Requirements. So keep those word counts within the limits, and good luck!
