I wanted to know if there were any known or relatively uncommon robots that have a chance at winning VRC or IQ worlds. There is no way to know which bot will win, but what teams have the best chance in your opinion? Also, how well do you think flat bots will do at worlds?

I would say 1095R has a slightly off-meta robot with their roller-intake flatbot. I think they have a very good chance of making it to the dome and they are my favorite to win it all.

I agree - descorers could definitely come in clutch because even if teams don’t double zone it just adds another obstacle in their minds and it requires lots of communication between the two teams

As the captain of a Vex IQ MS team with a completely unique robot I would say there is a small chance. We won the Excellence Award at our state championship with a 100% unique robot and little inspiration from others. It is most certainly possible. People just need to try, lol.
1095R, if they continue to be a descorer bot-might be really unique considering other descorers are disassembling their bots as they feel like being able to descore isn’t enough compared to other advantages. I really think if 1095R teams with another really good team, especially one with a higher hang, they have a chance of winning it all.
You know that one team that the triball can go inside the robot. Can’t find the video but I think their team name is like life or smth.
