I am currently exploring ideas on attaching a wrist-like system on my claw, solely for the purpose of getting the claw to flip about 90 degrees from a pin grabbing position to a stacking position. At the moment I can’t share any photos but would love it if someone would like to share their knowledge on building one.
I am not talking about a 180-degree rotation for flipping the pins upside down.
This is a good idea and all, but why not have it 360 so then you have all the positions. Pictures would help a lot, you can just blur them if you don’t want people to take the idea.
I would use an half motor with a 60t with the claw at a 36t or 42t. That way you can get max rpm while still being small. If you want ONLY the 90 degrees, then add a stopper or code.
