But with no expansion limits you could block your opponent’s whole protected zone without actually touching it. However, this also gives your opponent the opportunity to legally destroy your robot since it’s a “wall-bot”.

I may have exaggerated a little, but this is the quote from the rule book that I’m refering to.

no capacity limit, and their weight is inconsequential, they’re hollow and plastic, so shouldn’t be an issue.
