First off, I love the look of this game. The shooting dynamic will be phenomenal, and I can’t wait to see what the top teams do during the endgame.

Leaving a couple of videos here that might generate some ideas

The specs on the rings they were shooting in that FTC game are:

Inside Diameter: 3 in.
Material: 6 lb/cu ft Foam with Orange Skin
Outside Diameter: 5 in.
Thickness: 0.75 in.
Weight: 0.065 lbs

I have no idea how similar this will end up being to the Spin Up discs, but it seems like there’s a lot that could be learned here.

I have a question about the game. I couldn’t find an answer anywhere in the translated rule book, but can a robot of the opposing alliance enter a low goal and descore the frisbees?

MTI and Texas Cup were some of the only competitive in-person events that season (sorry Russia), I would recommend VRC competitors to review some of their matches to get a sense of how the game was played in-person (wildly different than online btw):
