2026-27 VEX V5 Robotics Competition Game: Override

I’ll figure it out.

Do the game elements just not fit on the old glass perimeter field? We tried to put the toggle on, but there was not enough space. That will be a hard problem to face because the portable perimeter costs $900.

There should be spacers that shipped with the game elements, they are used in attaching the toggles, while I’m not sure if there are any instructions on how to do it, I’m sure you’ll figure it out.

There should have been spacers shipped to make it work.

If someone has a picture of how they used the spaces for the toggles on a metal field perimeter - please post it here …

I found it tedious to use the assembly interface to locate the april tags… here is a diagram (would be nice to have something like this in appendix A:

We just shoved a c-channel in the space.

This could be even more so the case with the split

That’s true; they haven’t released a stacking game since Tower Takeover. I think something really cool is that not many students have actually played a stacking game, so the tables are a little more even

Does anyone know how tall a stack of one cup and one pin is? Thank you!

That is an answer you can discover for yourself in appendix A of the manual

In the first ever competition for Override, the current highest score obtained is 67!
The main winning factor has always been the changing the toggles; and focusing only on that.

A very interesting season opener for sure.

Above is the game where the score happened.

Is this the automate comp where 2577x is competing? If so do you have the livestream link? But I’m pretty sure blanks beginnings happened around 2.5 weeks ago so not the first comp

It’s the australia season opener

If I’m correct, Blank’s Beginnings is not an official competition on events.vex.com, meaning that this is the first official comp. There was no livestream (the only livestreams that happen in Australia are the National Competition in November), but we did record footage of our games, which we may upload onto Youtube.

Please upload it I need to do game analysis for the notebook :folded_hands::folded_hands::folded_hands:

I was hoping that it would be a shooting game and that the big square in the middle from the name reveal was just a big goal

Perhaps we should be finished grieving over spin up 2.0. However, the fact that this year was not a shooting game increases the odds that next year will be one, right? right?

sorry for taking so long!
we’re still waiting on our sister team so we can trade some footage, we are also currently editing what we have right now.

Hey I’m fine with any footage so take your time
