Welcome to the forum. So sorry to hear you are quitting. I guess this is goodbye?
Also in the rules it states that during the king of the hill you donât get violations for flipping etc so they really are asking for push bot metas
Lets hope the QnA will save us.
I fear that may not do much as the older parts seem to not have logos so they might just end up thinking itâs an old part.
Does this apply to IQ to?
Regardless, I donât want to be parading VEX anymore than I already do if they are cutting out teams with the colour rules, specifically the dye banned and drawings
Can we please wait untill the q&a opens so we stop filling up the forum with coloring complaints?
Why do you have such a problem with people disagreeing with the GDC? What else would you like this thread to be used for, other than talking about the game and its rules?
These arenât coloring complaints. These are all legitament concerns with real issues. Not all teams have acces to enough funds to purchase new parts every season. The changes the GDC made will have alot of reprecussions (there are benefits too). Please let people share their opinons and concerns.
It depends.
- If the screws come pre colored and are a non-vex but meet the requirements listed in then they may be likely to be allowed, as you did not change the color
- If they are VEX screws, then no
Overall, it would probably come down to the inspectors and head refs over what will be allowed in this case. Otherwise, if the GDC makes a statement clarifying the situation, that would give a final answer.
The game manual does not have a specific definition for possession. Is holding a cup that has scoring elements stacked on top of it counted as possession of just that cup or all of the scoring elements in the stack?
Pretty sure kkaidenn is GDC (or VEX). Just check the post history, the pattern is kinda loud. Not really giving âconcerned student,â more like narrative control vibes.
I believe âpossessionâ - in this case - refers to a sort of ration you can hold. You can hold either one pin, one cup, or a pin stacked on a cup. I may be wrong, so please donât take my word as truth, but thatâs my understanding. Itâs in coordination with the reveal and GM, so I think itâs alright.
For the red and blue lines next to each match loaders I have looked through the rulebook for override and found nothing that applies to what that is for besides where you can put your robot for starting a match.
That is my take as well. You can posses one cup, one pin, or one pin in one cup. After which the joke writes itself.
maybe not 100% sure yet but FTC is looking tempting
Iâm not restricting anyone from their free speech. I just canât relate to this because my team never colored their parts.
Their name does fit the gdc/vex/recf employee naming systemâŠ
but fr tho
I donât actually believe this
What CAD software is used to make the Field CAD models before output to STEP format?
Asking because Onshape CAD STEP import offers the following option:
Orient imported models with Y Axis Up (On/Off): Models built in an environment with Y-axis up, such as SOLIDWORKS, Creo, or Inventor, will keep their original orientation on import.
Guys I think @kkaidenn is either a Vex spy or just rage baiting because there is no way people can be happy about the lack of colored parts.
