Hi. We are a team that wants to try a 6 motored drivetrain.
Due to frequent questions and discussions on drive speeds, but not a lot of resources on the layouts of the possible gearings themselves, I’ve created this resource for people to see a catalogue of drive speeds that I’ve deemed as viable, and some commentary on each layout.
All drives shown here are on 6 motors, and all drives here are compatible with center traction wheel. (some drives have 8 wheels so traction will be offset from center). The layouts shown can easily be translated to 4 motor …
Xenon27 had some CADs linked here for the hole spacings.
Anything around or above 64 in/sec should be sufficient. I personally am running 450 rpm on 3.25’’ wheels, giving us 76.6 in/sec, as robots this year seems to be hanging around 64, 68, and 74 in/sec.

Shoot, you beat me to it. I forgot that he had cad files linked to that as well.
