You mean you guys can’t excuse from lessons for competitions? Just curious.
Coz I did a straw poll with the teachers and the findings were…
- Preferred weekdays over weekends (which I presume they will be able to request excuse from school/lessons for the teams involved)
2a) For SG govt schools - Within 1st week of June hols (so that it will not eat too much into the sch holidays)
2b) For SG international schools - do it before holidays (which is around 6 or 9 of june onwards)

Here is a concept bot I made that uses a lifting hopper to hold a bunch of balls. I don’t think its that effective, but it’s just a concept.

RN is all just CAD and NB but we have
-DB (360 rpm)
-Intake, I’ve got an idea for a mesh conveyor im using, if not ill return to rubber bands
-Big old hopper to hold a lot of balls
-Elehpant mech (going name) that combines 2 conveyors and a trap door to do mid and top goals.

Our team designed a bot on paper the day the season released and started building shortly afterward. We almost have a functional bot right now. We just got the field and tested our bot.
You should post your idea so that we can… not steal it. Definitely. Definitely not stealing them.
I have just settled on a design and I am cadding it now. Our program is also already almost 600 lines long and the bot does not exist in real life. Specs are,
DB: 66w 450rpm on 2.75in (if we can get them)
Intake: 22w 4m with 5 rollers and a pneumatic blockpop (name in progress)
Basket: haven’t cadded so don’t know size but loads from top and unloads from bottom
Little will scraper mech
Custom auton selector with rotating logos at idle
A class that makes it so we don’t have to make the buttons ourself and makes programming 80 times easier
I might make a template for making custom guis and rotating logos so that anyone can do it. It does have to be done in python though.
And all of this is done by a soon to be 8th grader this next school year.
