Is it possible to download a program FROM our brain TO a laptop?

Unfortunately, it appears that there is no way for code to be downloaded from the brain to a computer. Sorry.

You could approach this from the IT angle.
First, turn OFF laptop.
Second, find someone that knows what they are doing. Run a data recovery program and see if you can recover the deleted/edit file.
I’m assuming you do not have backups of any type. If so, start there first.
Finally, learn how to backup ALL your saved code to a thumb drive into SEPARATE folders with dates for names… so you have multiple points of restoration.
