Could we use a screw that was originally more than 2", but was cut down so that it was 2"? What if the screw had a 2" unthreaded portion, would it still be legal after it was cut?
Do shoulder screws still count as screws? Would it be legal to modify that shoulder screw to have a smaller diameter?
No, this is not legal. You are using a screw that’s longer than 2".
