It was harder to pull out by hand than with the robot and they showed the sizing tool in the video (the wrong one at first and then made a second video to clarify) as well as showing they really jammed it in there
I’ll ask them to post it here
So it is possible to descore some jammed goals it seems. if my goal is a tenth inch loser than perfect, my testing rollers can descore (take like 20 seconds though) but even a tiny bit tighter, like a tenth of an inch, and it can no longer be descored.
That’s the one but the first part he got it out much faster, but it’s just practice now
It seems like you just need more testing and tuning if that’s the case
he didnt push it as far u push till u hear a pop
yeah it might be possible to consistently dislodge, but it also might not.
If you’re hearing a pop you are breaking the field right?
never mind the pop was the wall which i hadn’t secured field wall once i had i can now pull out the balls its difficult and a pain but its doable
Now you have to tune to get it out but it’s not impossible
under the assumption the goal is perfect
ye so i guess its not a critical flaw its just a pain in the butt
In the webinar, Grant Cox just said that the ball getting stuck was a manufacturing error and that it will be fixed in the may update
The difference here is that the flags are flexible, but I am pretty sure the balls are not for this game.
Edit//: Gosh dangit, discourse being a meme again. It brought me to the top of the thread and didnt load the other 200 posts so I assumed that this thread was posted early this week.
In the webinar today, Grant said that this issue will be addressed in the may 25th manual update. I guess we’ll know then.
Thank goodness. That and the goal tolerances, will be nice to have a clear answer.
This really needs to get fixed this is a insane flaw with he game that will cause so many problems.
Well, I guess this strategy just went down the drain.
Probably for the best though.
yay!
I was expecting that tbh. thanks gdc!
