What are the restrictions on team names? Could a team have like a bunch of random letters that are unpronounceable, or not have any letters at all. Could someones team name be a space (like the character: ' ').
our name wasn’t my idea.
our team doesn’t really like it much either, so we’re going to hopefully change it this season. funny how that turned out though
There was also a team from Florida (7362A, Heron Creek Middle School) who used the name Mechanical Advantage, and my dad (who was also 77321J’s coach) really liked the name when he heard it.
A team name can be any combination of characters that are allowed (as long as it doesn’t say anything you wouldn’t be allowed to say).
I’ve seen teams before who had their name left blank, although I’m not sure (or having just a space) if that’s possible this year. (You can leave the school name blank, but that might make you look like you don’t know what you’re doing.)
One team last year briefly had their name listed as ¯_(ツ)_/¯, but they changed it shortly afterwards.

Wall-E: Original name
the Christmas tank: Looked like a tank and there was an idea to add lights
the 42nd: We made lots of changes
Revived: We made even more changes
Mark 2: Last minute changes before the competition
We named our robot the wheel mobile
well… that’s how we got our name…
many years ago, in one of the competitions, we left the team name blank. and the announcer called us “Blank”.
and we thought it is pretty cool actually. lol
haha,… we “enhanced” it by having a full-stop behind the name. lol

While all yous are here I’m trying to find a VEX-related acronym that spells out as IUD to annoy my coach for a team name this coming year and I need ideas!

Our coach literally has a sound board with that sound so that is literally what he’d say once he found out what iud meant lmaoo
