CAD - how to get the part files into fusion 360?

So I am completely knew to CAD but am giving it ago, so far
I have the CAD files downloaded and Autodesk fusion 360 installed but I am struggling to figure out how to put those cad files into Autodesk fusion 360.
Does anyone know how to do that?

Click import then drag and drop your file in.
I think you may be able to just drag and drop it into the software.

I would highly reccoment using the parts from there, there is a wide variety, and the modify button is super helpful.
