Cursed Images

The field area is fine, and our field is good! The foam just got a bit dirty! A lot of the tiles decided to pull themselves off the ground, and so we got the funding from a sponsor to redo the floor. New floor goes in on the 20th! (We needed one anyway! lmao)

We just moved into this space like 4 months before worlds, so we knew we were gonna have to do some work on it (It was free, lol). We repainted the walls, sealed the cracks, and you can see the gray part on the right side there that we repainted. Obviously that didn’t work out too well under 5in of water, and started peeling. The building manager came down as we were scooping water, and just yesterday he had the spots where the water was coming in from filled in and 2 new pumps installed! He also came down during the flood, and lifted the frc robot off the ground for us (such a life saver)

Always gotta start somewhere😉

I honestly feel the biggest fear is mold behind walls. You may possibly have someone check for black mold and make sure the place is safe (unless that is exactly what is going on in the picture).

hao you forgot the cursed intake rollers

also totally not us

You can’t see it in these photos, but there are 1ft baseboards that we put up, expensive, but at least they came in handy

when one of you balls breaks
i think we did that once too
might have spilled a bit of juice

Here we have a classic example of multi-day tournaments

When the red alliance has 10 match loads:

Another case of computers can’t count

That post is more cursed without context. :upside_down_face:

At Benton it kind of happened. Teams would use them as match loads by letting them sit on the floor with the rest of them.

that red streak was blood from my teammate’s leg
he cut his leg on the edge of the seesaw thing

If in a school situation, please have custodian disinfect blood spill - it is considered a hazard and there are specific protocols for cleanup.

We had to deal with blood spill while hosting a competition.

An everyday encounter.

LOL vex has also cost me a lot in blood :unamused:

STOP PUBLICIZING MY DUMBNESS :frowning:

That lexan bridge is a terrifying thing to behold, cut me 3 times

It seems unlikely that knocking back an edge or corner capable of breaking skin with sandpaper or similar would result in an illegal component. I’m not making a specific recommendation because this is an area to be dealt with by a locally responsible adult.

When you accidentally file your fingers

Too much speed on a fly wheel made a churro out of our axle lol.
