Plastic screws are okay, just dont use them on structural pieces
actually, it’s pretty common to use nylon screws for low strength applications because of their light weight.
yeah, they work wonders for bearings, but that is the only place I would really use them.
Actually this for me would be the only exception as I have used them for this, but I still don’t think it is a great idea for structural components.
Depends - I’ve seen World champion robots use pop rivets - you just have to understand how and where to use them.
Like I said, I would only use them on bearings, but I guess that it varies in the circumstances.
