It’s pretty clearly a gear shifter between the drive and the lift, given the motor distribution has 6m drive/lift listed.
not really anything revolutionary, but could be a useful feature, depending on how frequently you’d want to lift. (not useful for lifting goals repeatedly on the platform, because you’d need to stop moving your drive to move your lift, but could be useful for a one or few time use tall lift for getting rings on the tall goal.)

Normal is irrelevant. We are the ones who will be making sure business buildings, schools, homes, computer systems, etc function. We are the ones who will fix vehicles, develop mars rovers, and build military machines to keep people safe.

It’s hard to confirm what humanity’s purpose is. But, what is strange is humanity’s capability to create a swarm mind from thousands of people and develop globalized solutions that is able to do the once non-imaginable. The only way is forward, stepping into an abyss hoping that Engineering is the path that is able to save and/or advance humanity. Otherwise, the only thing we are doing is using Engineering as a tool to reassure us that solving kinetic and/or biological puzzles is somehow important. And in that case Engineering would be art in just mathematical and scientific form. I guess that is why non-Engineering careers are also popular because most people join a career because they love what they do (or have no other choice), not as much because they believe they want to be the most impactful for humanity. If you want to be an Engineer because you want to make an impact, that should not be the primary reason because you’re gambling that Engineering is truly making a positive impact, when it’s hard to confirm that it does or doesn’t. Instead, I feel like it’s better to not gamble your career for humanity, but instead do what you love most. That, I believe, would benefit you and humanity far more.
