Don’t you hate it when you took a chassis home for the summer to practice programming, and 3 of the 4 motors were dead so you basically couldn’t do anything over the summer? On the bright side though, I was allowed to drive around last year’s bot for the club fair at freshmen orientation. It turns out chasing freshmen with a robot is an effective way of garnering new members
If anyone was wondering about the result of this, we have around 20 new members (mix of freshmen and sophomores, but more freshmen), so I guess it worked out pretty well.
Reminds me of the time when cutting a nylock off a screw and the nylock fell off and burned straight through the foam field tiles. And I decided “I should pick up the nylock even though it burned through the entire tile.”
It was VEX IQ, so there wasn’t winning or losing a match, but we did still win the competition and skills award though because you get three attempts, so it worked out.
Don’t you hate it when people bring up old posts from like a year ago to hate on someone for telling someone else to stop spamming the forums?
Seriously, man. Not cool.
