EDR cortex / wiring trouble

I would look at the following:

I assume these are cortex brains and not the even older pic systems. The “default” code provided by VEX can be downloaded by the old cortex firmware utility, however, RobotC includes as a sample program that is a close approximation of that default code. here it is if you cannot find it. ROBOTC VEX Cortex Default.c

1-3 ports are left drive motors
4-5, 10 ports are right drive motors

As for the other motors, yeesh.

So I recently salvaged this old VEX claw-bot, and I had to wipe the programming because it went rouge. Can someone please guide me through ROBOTC? I have no idea what i’m doing and I don’t know how to reprogram this metal demon
