Maybe something like a maze game, where all the walls are 18 inches apart from each other, so it is too tight to turn around corners.
Although it is possible to make an x-drive in the future, I have noticed even in current games with 12 motors, I hardly ever notice X-drives used as many find the ability to strafe, in the long run, not worth it. Most teams try for four motor to six motor drives for extra speed at the moment. It would be cool to see a game in the future where the X-drive can be used, but ultimately, I think two to four motors next year, or four to six motors if more motors are able to be used in the future, will always be the best design
I would die to see viable vex swerve drives. But with the motor limit decreasing instead of increasing, this doesn’t seem likely.
Swerve drives are weak and pointless in competition, but they are fun to use
Exactly, FRC swerves are a thing of beauty to watch and run circles around other robots when designed & built properly. oh well, FRC is FRC and Vex is Vex.
