Nice! We usually just use pliers or our fingers to hold the nut instead

Nice, another option is to superglue a magnet to a wrench - then it works much faster:

or you could just put a piece of tape over the back of a wrench, been doing that for years. Man really thought he did something there

Or you could just time it so that you move the nut into position right as the screw threads pass through the metal

We just use a needle-nose pliers, and it seems to work okay, but we might use this in the future. Thanks for sharing!

For even smaller spots tightening a ziptie around the nut and using the excess ziptie to get it into position is pretty effective.

We have a go to person on our team to get in washers. I don’t know how he does it but he somehow gets it in everytime.
