@DRow / @DanMantz a number of VRC mentors would happily volunteer/donate time to improve the VRC Data Ecosystem. I’d be happy to sign whatever NDAs, etc. would be necessary.
To be fair, I think FIRST has sensors on the scoring elements (could be wrong) which makes both scoring less data-entry-error prone and allows for better live-scoring. I think their games also tend to be more like basketball/football (ever increasing) and not end-state-of-the-world like VRC…
Yeah, and also it’s more complicated this season because there are two different scoresheets you can choose from in TM (one that supports displaying the score in real time during the match, and another with simplified entry but live-scoring not supported), and I remember seeing somewhere (but have not verified myself) that the way data is stored internally is different depending on which scoresheet is used.

I know that it is of topic but I want to know witch is better for the 15second aton, a U bar or a clamp?
I personally think a clamp is better as you will be able to contest in the middle if two robots both grab a neutral goal at the same time. If you use a u-bar or forklift type mechanism you still lack control over the goal and a robot with a clamp can easily grab on and drive away with it. If you’re referring to the type of mechanism 4082B and other teams use to control mobile goals on the back of their robots, I still think a clamp is better for the aforementioned reasons.
How can you easly get three preloads on a branch with a four bar and clamp?
There are a few ways to do that, mainly by flipping out an extension from let’s say your claw, and then lifting your arm up to score preloads, or dropping rings on by rotating about a point and letting gravity do the work. 99999V uses pneumatics to flip out a scorer and lowers their arm to passively score while 60470S has a flipout that releases passively and uses pneumatics to release rings when they please. 8047F stores rings on a prong and passively releases them by twisting an arm around to let the rings fall out, and 2647X does something similar
