I need intakes that have no flex wheels and is easy to build

My school is broke and we need to have a intake but no flywheel.I ONLY NEED PICTURES AND VIDEOS. I am building a push bot that has a bar spinner on the side and a intake that can hold 3 disks.

You can intake with sprockets/rubber bands. You can launch w/ a solid rubber wheel… and the data shows that wheel to be far more efficient also. Cheap…

Your description of what you want your robot to be seems a little like the hero bot this year… check it out!!

If he says he still does not have enough parts, then I shall be at a loss for words, for the Hero Bot is designed with the very thought of parts limitations in mind.

Also, I’m curious, where do I find the aforementioned data?

A thread of mine. Tested all available wheels, recorded data, graphed it, published it.

Did you try intake rollers? I use them for my intake because I can’t use flex wheels and they work perfectly if not better than flex wheels since they have fingers to hold on the disks.
