My team is running out of flex wheels to use for our intake system(aka none) and wheels to use in general and we really don’t want to order more things. Are there any other ideas for an intake system? We are a half new/ half old team and we don’t know what to use for our intake system.
have you seen the sprocket and elastics intake? (they used this before flex wheels) it’s pretty brittle, but if you are really looking for an intake then do that. also, some teams use an optical sensor and pick up the rings directly off the ground using rounded hooks. i’ll attach some photos if i can find some.
Adding on to this, I’ve seen many teams also use anti slip mat on thier intake, if your team has it than it may be something to consider
