I’ve got to disagree with that. Most of the formulas and relations, that are applicable to what we do here, are derived from the physical properties of the real objects (i.e. physics related) and not simply a pure math that manipulates abstract theoretical entities.
Also, @Banjo2rise, since you are new here, I would like to point out that open side of the vexforum is not a chat server. It is an educational resource for the students and, among other things, allows them to learn how to interact online in a professional manner.
It is is not a requirement, but it is encouraged that outside of Chit-Chat / Rumor Mill channel you try to express yourself in a more formal style and we, adults, are here to help you to learn that with some, hopefully, good examples and feedback when necessary.
Unfortunately, in my opinion, few of you recent posts fall short of that expectation and are borderline crossing forum guidelines.
- Please, consider using full words and avoiding slang abbreviations and excessive emojis.
- Please, consider avoiding multiple short posts and, instead, group them into longer more though out replies.
- Please, try your best to do some research, read, and understand previous replies first, before posting your opinion.
- Please, try to avoid anything that may be considered controversial or personally offensive - err on the side of caution when not sure.
If you do not follow those basic guidelines, you risk that other forum members will start considering your posts as trolling and could begin to ignore you, instead of giving you technical help that you may seek.
You may want to spend some additional time researching older topics first, to learn both general forum conversation style and technical answers to your questions.
And in case, if you are considering replying that I should mind my own business, in a defensive style similar to how you did in a number of now-deleted posts in this topic, I would highly recommend you to google Dunning-Kruger effect - I find some of the videos that explain it very educational.
