Is our Innovate Award submission good? This is our team’s first time applying for it, and we would like to have some feedback so that we can improve our submission in the future. We also would like to know what we should include in our submission too, such as code or photos.
The form is a start, as you won’t be considered for innovate without it. But you must promote yourself during your interview. If it never comes up during your interview, the form by itself has little value. Almost all interviews end with a question “is there anything else you want to tell us?” Prepared for this opportunity if you want to receive any judged awards!

Hate to break it to you, but…
You made the stacked gear a bit lower than in Xenon27’s CAD by not putting the stacked gear directly above the “in-line gear” (I just made up that phrase) which saves a bit of space I guess.
The submission seems pretty solid, but definitely don’t use that 10 pixel screenshot for the actual sumbission sheet

Tbh I have never seen that design before, but thanks for letting me know about it. Knowing that another team came up with the same solution as us lets me know that what we created is a good solution to the problem!
Yeah, we noticed that question in previous interviews but never thought much of it. We’ll be sure to mention it if they ask or find a way to bring it into conversation! Thanks for the help!
