probably not until much later this year, the PROS team wasn’t even aware we were developing this. We have many non-competition customers that needed a replacement for the vision sensor which has been the priority.

I hope the partner sdk does get updated soon. Until it is, students who use Vexcode will have a competitive advantage over those that use PROS and Simulink, which is unfair as these students now have to rewrite their projects in a different API with an older version of C++. This is even worse for matlab users as they will need to use an entirely different programming language.

In my opinion, the AI Vision Sensor should not be competition legal until the partner sdk has been updated. If non-competition customers are a priority, than surely this can be done.

Just a quick check on this. How far are we from partner SDK / PROS implementation? Thanks.

We have received the SDK, currently working on implementation. No ETA yet.

This sensor does not have any WiFi

Just curious though, why was the wifi ability removed from the current ai vision sensor?
