I don’t know how long it’s been like this, but I just noticed it over the last week. When looking at RobotEvents Skills rankings, in previous years when you applied filters, it would show the ‘relative’ rank of teams for that filter; for instance, I could filter it down to Indiana, and the top team in Indiana would show as rank #1, even though on the World Skills list that team might be 15th.
Now when filtering, you only get the World Skills Ranking value, regardless of the view. I can understand the value in this, but if it’s going to stay, an additional column indicating the count would be nice. It’s not that I can’t import it into Excel or Sheets and do a count of cells, but it’s annoying to have to take those extra steps (I’m admittedly spoiled by the previous display mechanism).
Any chance of that being fixed, or is this a request to RECF?

Also noticed that and agree - requesting that the index shows for that filter; looks like someone tweaked the code and only showing world rank and not showing row counter.
Not sure where to submit, but agree would like to see index row counter (relative rank).
There is a [email protected] email address for this.

I will send that in tonight as a request, thanks!

Got a response, quoted here for general knowledge spreading.
As of right now there are no plans to revert back or make any changes to the Global Skills Rankings. I will forward this request over to the developers of RobotEvents and see what they say. I can not promise anything at this time but I will get back to you once this has been discussed.
So here’s to hoping, but not holding my breath. Think I need to make a Sheets program to just do it for me…

Following up, got this email today, and it does show up now with the row count!
Looks like the developers were able to deploy something after the holidays, but the CSV isn’t downloading what is filtered above. I’ll update you once this has been resolved.
Now I need to go update my Sheets helper template tonight.
