Discussions probably can go on - good pressure relief. Better relief of energy is to go out an help at home - chores, or community - walk and pick up trash… make the world a better place.

While the new game should not be released early, it should also not be released later than usual. I can’t have two breaks with nothing to do. The only reason that I could realistically see delaying the release is if corona gets worse and everyone everywhere goes into a total quarantine (i.e. zero contact with anyone else) thing as releasing a game for a bunch of teenagers in the middle of a serious pandemic probably wouldn’t make RECF/Vex…

I think the new game should be released soon as possible. It will help us release Tower Takeover… And move on.

Heck in many ways I think the converse is true. Privately run teams tend to have more advantages than school run teams.

Considering that a lot of us are going to be trapped inside soon (if not already), I think that is genuinely the perfect time for design to start.

Lauren from the RECF posted this in the Worlds cancellation thread, it includes the FAQ. To summarize, there isn’t an official decision yet.
