A lot of people here are very dedicated to VEX, and to have our state championships cancelled was a huge devastation to me and to the rest of my team and program. One kid on my team was so sad he started crying, that shows how much he was dedicated to VEX

I’m from CA too, we r going to LA middle school states
In NY we already had our states, but the governer banned all meetings over 500. As the state leading in cases many schools are closing. I live in central NY and so far 2 schools have been closed for 1 month
My team was going to Sacramento
Once I found out, I asked my English teacher if I could go cry in the bathroom, he goes,“You really like robotics that much?”, I nodded, and he told me to go. I then proceeded to cry in a stall for twenty minutes and wondered why it had to end like this.
School is canceled for a bit,
So if we can’t have VEX,
We at least don’t have to go to school.

For us it was meetings over 250 banned and no less than 6 feet apart.
Yeah we were going to compete at LA today too😢
