Currently I’m thinking 4 motor X-drive with flywheel that can hold up to three rings.

What about a dual catupult. Its foam so it may not be that consistent.

Not really. I mean even rotational launchers (slip gear horizontal catapults) wouldn’t be as fast as flywheels. Plus with flywheels you can vary your shot rpm based on your robot’s distance from the goal.

The hardest part of this game will be intaking the frisbees somehow into the shooting mechanism.
So far I’m thinking of intaking around three frisbees into an elevator type thing that can then lift the frisbees up to the shooting mechanism to be rapidly fired.

From the video I didn’t really get if you can go in the scoring zones or not. If you can then no reason to shoot the frisbees, just have a conveyer place them in

I’d think a slanted intake system like this year - and have it lead directly into a flywheel
There’s no real need to get all of them at once, and it’ll probably create problems

We have no pistons so I was initially thinking,
4m drive
1m intake
1m single flywheel
1m roller spinning thing
1m expansion
We are getting pneumatics in September so I was thinking pneumatic expansion
We don’t know that pneumatics will be legal or not though? Correct me if I am worng
