Spin Up predictions?

i can’t think of anything else…

I immediately thought of my favorite reveal

Exactly. I will venmo someone who disagrees $10 if an off-meta robot doesnt make world finals. or semifinals.

Exactly. We had multiple off meta robots make it to worlds. I forgot their numbers, but they made it.

Y’all know those things from lego star wars the complete saga (I haven’t played the new one). I can’t find a picture but it’s like those green and red trapezoids you push and it pivots in the middle.

The last time we had up in the title, the game was bad.

Also, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I really don’t like shooter games. Hopefully this is not a shooter game.

Okay so based on the name spin up I’m getting like a tea cup spinning vibe and you will have to like shoot little colored frisbee into them. Maybe they are elevated and the higher it is the more points. And last but not least I’m hoping for some kind of hanging thing this year.

Maybe a large spinning platform in the middle? Kinda like a merry-go-round.

incase anyone is wondering, yes this is fake, this is an edited version of this frisbee frenzy picture (a fan made game)

I don’t think vex would use any electrical game elements, so I think “spin up” could only be spinning balls or frisbees in order to shoot them. However, balls can be shot by a catapult(balls will not spin), so the greater possibility will be frisbees.

Ps. It also wouldn’t be spinning larger game elements by robots because “spin up” means spinning fastly, but I don’t think they will use any bearing, they are too expensive.

I still think like a turntable such as in frc

If this hasn’t been made clear already, this is fake

You know what spins up? Propellors. What are propellors on? Drones. Therefore, we will all be finding out if a vex legal drone is possible next year.
(Kind of joking but I feel like it’ll have to do with the air in some way)

vex air game !

I think it might have two spinning towers with the middle one being bigger as a “bonus tower” and you shoot balls into the tower.

@BobbyfromJamaica I strongly doubt that the game elements will require their own electrical set-up.

Shouldn’t this thread be merged with this one?

I was meaning if you touch it it can spin. Like a merry go round. No electrical components needed

I think it’ll be a central wall with a large spinning platform in the middle, maybe a multi tiered platform for the up part of spin up, you can put balls in the platform and take opponent balls out, higher platforms mean more points, can be played in a minute and a half, possible to be set up by a human, and playable by clawbots, that’s just my theory though

WIth the price increase of the field, I would expect some kind of spinning game element with a v5 motor and a modified brain that only sends a signal to power a motor spinning in one direction. You could run the v5 cable underneath the foam tiles. (hopefully, the new way to power the motor would have some type of protection so the port doesn’t die, but who am I to guess)
