I believe the biggest challenge will be keeping a stack of cubes stable while being transported. Some strategies may include holding the sides and top steady, or tilting the whole mechanism so the cubes lean into the lift while being moved. Still thinking about it and saw interesting posts on these issues.
Yeah a cascade lift or a chain bar is what i was aiming for but im not sure if it would be good to execute since i dont think it will be securely balance and provide stability. But idk maybe i can work i would have to make a prototype to see…

I think you should build a reverse stacker as a claw would be too slow.
