Do both. Zip ties and high strength axles. The problem is how much those axles are bending right now. You need more support, and the best way to fix this is to use high strength axles. Zipties only if even the hs axles aren’t enough.
You also might want to shorten your crank arm (arm connected to green gear) it is pretty long. And check out this thread. Physics of Tilter
Ok great and all, but what’s the new product idea?
So I fixed this issue by widening the two c channels and then putting a line of 4 opinions and 2 green gears connected to a different arm
Also the bed now sits at an angle but it works better
i would also box the C channels because it gives strength although it can become a pain to put an axle through them
Also another issue was that the axel insert was wiggly so it would angle when the motor would spin and the cause to skip teeth and strip
Brace the sides more so the gears never have the opportunity to split apart. Also use hs axles.
