No they couldn’t have just postponed it. There is so much money and effort that goes into making worlds happen, but the welfare of the public is priority. Postponing the event wasn’t an option because of how bad this global pandemic was. I don’t think that the people that run worlds would just cancel it because they want to upset every vex student for funnies.
RIP, I lost my last wristband, still managed to have a signed hub from WCs
Every time I see this it hurts more and more
Hi Jayden!
Ever is a long time. You are a high school student, which means you have 50 more years to get to the US. I’m pretty sure someone like you will have other opportunities. Don’t give up hope yet!
You have extended an invitation for online challenge winners from this year to go to Worlds 2021. Does that invitation include ALL ONLINE CHALLENGE WINNERS or just the First Prize winner? Thank you…
The 1st place winner of the 2020 online challenges earned an automatic team qualification for the 2020 VEX Robotics World Championship. Because the event was cancelled, we are extending the invitation to the 2021 VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas.
The VEX Photography Online Challenge only lists the TOP FIVE VEX IQ CHALLENGE and TOP FIVE VEX ROBOTICS COMPETITION CHALLENGE winners. There is no first prize winners. So will any of these winners be invited to 2021 Worlds? Here is a link: 2020 Online Challenges Winners Announced | REC Foundation
Stay healthy and safe…
I imagine you could see who was number one then? Or does it not list the rankings
The photography award did not grant winners entry to Worlds. Just gift certificates:
