For the robot, I found that my team has an issue, basically my team is in sg, but our school is quite recent to vex around 2016 or 2017. Ok so let me js get straight to my point here. We have always completed with 200rpm motor carts and that’s it with very little gears and no 5.5w motor and pnuematics. The issue I found here is that, I cant use 6 motor drive. I have to go with 4 motor drive. oh ya this year we getting more gears and different types and getting blue and red carts. So according to what I have and all, I can only go with 4m drive, 1m intake, 1m mobile goal munipulation and 1m arm for the hang and the high goals. If anyone can improve this, it would be great. I think this also helps with teams that is newer and don’t have a lot of parts.

You can’t get a negative skills score. The negative zone just “cancels out” other scored donuts, so if there are no other donuts to cancel, then it does nothing.

no but its a 4 foot tall tower with 3 segments so each distance will be just under 16 inches due to bar width being taken into acct.

600 might be a bit too much I think 450 would be best this year since there will be a lot of pushing

have a look at the scoring description on the vex website as well as listen closely it seems to imply that it does not allow negative scores. I hope im wrong tho as negative scores would be fun

I’d do a six motor x drive (1.5 motors per wheel), 0.5 moter for top ring, passive pneumatic bottom tier climb, pneumatic goal manipulation, 0.5 motor disc grabber and 1 motor arm?

Im prolly running 480,500, or 600 on 2.75 with 88 watt drive and prolly 22 watt pto to lift and intake and then a 88 watt pto to the hang mech if I do one.

For the arm I would do a cascade because you could power it with a 1 motor + and it is very compact our team measured how much slides we would need to reach the top pretty sure it’s 3 full length ones
