YES that is why tank drive is the answer. It’s also not that much slower than the x drive.
Our robot is light making it extremely fast when coded to the max speed for the drive train, even though it’s light we aren’t pushed around easy because of traction wheels on the drive train.

Assuming you are using pneumatics with that shifter, that leaves 2 extra motors for scoring and descoring balls.
That sounds like a lot of ratchets to me

Nice! I like how the robot de-scores the middle goal. Is their any reason why you didn’t use longer intakes (like other tray lifts and snail bots so far) and instead opted for fixed intakes?

The reason is they need to be at a fixed angle so it can intake quickly and so it’s consistent in autonomous
