What do you think will be the game next year for VEX IQ or V5?

Of course, it’s impossible to know for sure, but based on analyzing patterns in previous game reveals, I can conclude that a major element of gameplay will most likely involve moving around the field. Most likely there will also be some sort of object that is moved around.

I agree, most likely an object. Plus I’m predicting some kind of endgame setup. Like you, using past games as a pattern, out on a limb that they will be only one color.

i hope for a water game because yes even though i dont think vex are water proof. Something involving a high tower is my guess. (like the frisbie game, this years elevation)

It has been a few years since we have seen a stacking type game. So I am guessing a stacking type game. I am going to guess the main game element will be a cone like object that needs to be stacked.

I’ve been dreaming for a while. Here are my ideas:
VRC Smackdown
Teams build towers of different sizes of plastic balls. At a certain point in the game, balls are introduced into the game and you can shoot at opposing towers to knock them down
VRC Rapid Cycle
The field is separated by a fence. You are shooting blocks, balls, and other odd shaped small objects into a goal on the other side of the field.
VRC Riptide
Similar to starstruck, except the field is filled with water

Vex IQ hasn’t had a game that requires balancing in quite a while. I think either balancing the robots on a teeter totter or balancing game objects

I can almost guarantee that for VRC, the main game element will be some irregularly shaped object, about 6 inches in diameter. It seems that has been the theme for a while, and I doubt RECF will deviate from that path.

I hope to satisfy the need for a water game, vex does something cool like making the scoring elements raindrops or water-related, such as these foam raindrops.

This is very similar to change up or tower takeover, but very thoughtful and cool concept.
I like this one, its like starstruck but its not only stars and 3 huge cubes. This concept should be taken into consideration by VEX.

I like the idea of a less physical season. SU and OU have been some of the most physically intense seasons yet. Either a divided field or more gentle challenge would upset that trend. Unless if that is the direction VRC is going in.

After looking at the VRC competition history page, I believe the next game will have some aspects of vex change-up. For example, Turning point has a net and something to hit in the air, Just like spin-up. Tower takeover has corner goals, just like over under. so, By theory, the Vex Robotics 2024-2025 game would have some aspect from Change-up
