What is the best placements for inertial sensor

Is there a specific place that I should place the inertial sensor or does it not matter.

Preferably in the middle of your robot works best.

The most relevant results I got after searching “inertial placement”:

It is best to keep the inertial sensor’s tracking center as close to the center of the robot as possible (I was told that the further out the more likely you are to max out the g-force limit of the sensor)

I’ve found in the past that after driving near a full match, depending on how you calibrate and control odometry, a slightly different inertial sensor placement can result in at least a couple of inches of offset from planned.

as long as it’s close to center, it should be fine. Just keep in mind that you can make it more accurate if it becomes a problem.
