Please be creative and don’t just say clawbot or 1 wheel drivetrain. (spin up)
one wheel drivetrain
Personally, i’d have to say the clawbot
A robot made by someone who didn’t read the game manual. Breaks vertical expansion rules, disk possession limits, etc.
Flywheel with no hood so it spins fast but can’t shoot anything. Also gear it so high that it doesn’t have enough torque to spin the rollers
A pushbot, all it can do is push discs into a low goal, nothing else
that is better than half of my alliance-mates
The minimum you would need to pass inspection is:
- Brain
- Battery
- Radio
- Battery Cable
- Smart Cable
Maybe hold things together with some zip ties or rubber bands if you’re feeling fancy.
Anything else is just adding unnecessary functionality, if the goal is to build the worst “robot” possible.
R1 states that you must have two subsystems. you also need
just throw in a C-channel
Someone who was a little too innovative.
Scary bot to go against in more ways than one.
Hold my discs, let me one-up you
No wheel drivetrain.
- Subsystem 1: Mobile robotic base including wheels, tracks, legs, or any other mechanism that allows the Robot to navigate the majority of the flat playing field surface. For a stationary Robot, the robotic base without wheels would be considered Subsystem 1.
Emphasis is mine
A no wheel drive base that just sits there are plays a gif of Rick Astley
A stationary robot due to poor building or coding, as in it doesn’t move, or turn, and basically just sits there in the way.
Yall are thinking inside the field. A bot that is constantly out for ‘major repairs’ and only the driver shows up to satisfy T5
Any bot that’s made out of steel, the rest doesn’t matter
Just use the tipping point meta and instantly get dq’d as you raise the 4bar
One of those ginormous robots from like tower takeover
One of those ginormous robots like from Skyrise.
