Maybe it was 20 Character
I feel like that is an attack on any teams with an instagram page.
But what I posted I saw all at once when I checked the forum, you had to search my username on the forum to find what I posted. And…
97 posts in 9 days? Read 12 hours in 9 days? That’s about 10 posts in one day and reading the forums 1.3 hours in one day on average.
I, on the other hand, didn’t even post every day that I checked the forum and read on average 0.27 hours in a day. Yes, I do check the forums a lot, but I when I do, I don’t usually spend a lot of time on it.
Summary
In conclusion, I am not on the forum nearly as much as you
If you by any chance thought that this was rude, I wasn’t trying to be rude, I was just typing pure facts
I found the posts read to posts created ratios interesting, which are approximately:
23:1 for @anon41942888
80:1 for @insert_code
42:1 for @dodgedoodle
43:1 for @1422_WI (me)
and, just for kicks,
60:1 for DRow (not linked to avoid wasting his time)
220:1 for @Illyana
Question, how many days does the recent read time cover?
This I do not know, but these are some pretty interesting facts
I don’t have a problem with it and I agree with you that a lot of those threads in that image I posted were actually useful threads. I just thought that you post quite often.
I do and I have had people tell me great job and what are you doing? Kind of mixed signals when it comes to posting
this is a bit ironic. I think that calling out a person on not having a badge that says they have read the community guidelines goes against the community guidelines.

And @CB_2956X with a ratio of 24,350:1
You have room to improve like all of us when we first join the forums. When I first joined I posted a lot but also didn’t know that much. It’s important to read and learn from other members who are far more elegant and experienced.
When you don’t know the answer specifically or aren’t a 100%(99%) sure then don’t post an answer. There is one time that you posted and it was related to the legacy cortex vex stuff and said something wrong.

I do believe you might be wrong.
I do appreciate your very open and welcoming pots to new people who have just joined the forums. But there was a few cases where that is all you said and in my opinion a bit unnecessary.
Edit: it took about 3 mins after I wrote this not even looking for it to accidentally find where you do this. Might just be me
but it feels unnecessary but also positive and nice. I have mixed feelings as it also looks like you could just be post farming to get to TL3(Regular) Info about trust levels if you would like to learn about it.

Bruv just trying to be nice by welcoming people
Great. DMs exist. If you don’t have something to actually add to the topic, don’t create the post. Not terribly difficult.
Arguably more obnoxious than anything else.
@anon41942888, I would like to thank you for giving me a good reason to once again google up the old proverbs and famous quotes about silence:
“Speech is silver, silence is golden”.
“Don’t speak unless you can improve silence.”
“It is the wise head that makes the still tongue.”
“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.”
“You have two ears and one mouth and you should use them in those proportions.”
“Most people can talk without listening. Very few can listen without talking. It is very rare that people can talk and listen.”
“When you talk, you are only repeating what you already know. But if you listen, you may learn something new.”
Above a new user’s post, it does say “This is the first time [name] has posted — let’s welcome them to our community!” I could see how someone might misinterpret that as meaning you should post a welcome message in the thread.
@anon41942888
Usually if you have something to say to one specific person that isn’t related to the thread, it would be best to send it as a DM, unless you see a lot of other people are doing it, too.
Based on my own experience, welcoming a new user to the forum is usually best to do in DM’s. (I’m not sure if I’ve heard of people doing it, but I could see it making sense, especially if no one has done it in their own posts yet.) Wishing them a happy cake day is usually also best to do in DM’s, and congratulating them on an accomplishment is sometimes appropriate to do in the thread, and definitely in threads about that accomplishment or about that team’s robot (like a reveal video).
You can also welcome a new person to the forum as part of a reply to their post, as long as you have something else to contribute to the conversation besides what other people have already said or what the person would already know it’s true. So if someone asks for advice, you can give them that advice and also welcome them to the forum in that post, or if there isn’t a good enough reason to welcome them to the forum based on their posts so far, you can welcome them in a DM.
