Shavedicejr:
Pause… IS THAT A DOG
Boston Dynamics says yes.
Here’s mine:
I know it’s not competition legal due to license plate rules and such, but here’s mine:
This is my “least-parts fully-functional drivetrain” and it doesn’t require anything more than the built in driver control code to run. (Disclaimer: I know there are 3-long standoffs somewhere in my parts storage, but I have them represented here by 2-long standoffs with extender caps.)
Total parts list:
1 Controller
1 Brain (and radio, battery)
2 short smart cables
2 smart motors
2 wheel hubs
2 plastic axles (motor shaft variety)
2 standoffs and 2 stand-off extension caps (each stand-off + cap combo is there to represent a 3-long axle)
… and yes, the brain battery does drag on the floor

Yeah who on earth took their time to build this.
Looking in the background that was 2017-2018 In The Zone!
I wish I had taken a picture, but there was a team at HS Worlds that had a VEX-built version of Johnny Five (from the 1986 movie “Short Circuit”) in their booth. If anyone has it, please post it.
