hey could you go a little more in depth on u r robot design? I would love to see it and maybe even give some suggestions. BTW welcome to the VEX community!!

Have you guys seen the kangaroo design from backwards crew? Its really good. It can triple stack and pick up 2-3 risers at a time and I can see a way it can pick up 4 at a time.

Man if you want some thing to compete at worlds level you’ll have to work on your own design and look at picking up more than just 3 risers.

I think the advantage to the ferris wheel design , is that unlike other designs with arms, you don’t have to waste time moving ur arms up and down. There will always be another claw right behind the first one.

The robot will probably never need to carry more than 4 risers at a time so i think im good.

Have you put your ferris wheel design on a rollling chassis yet? I love your originality but have concerns about practicality. Looking forward to seeing your progression and if it turns out to be a viable robot for competition.

I don’t think it triple stacks which is a BIG con for the ferris wheel

It dosent triple stack, and the triple stack is gonna be the main scoring object its like the green cubes from last year its worth a lt

Me and my team are looking for a lift anyone got suggestions? We’re thinking on doing a elevator type lift.(but it’s an elevator lift it really doesn’t work)

Of course we modified it to be able to pick up risers but that was our basic idea.

I’ve never seen a robot actually be able to put rings on the highest pole! Congrats! Could you send a video of it in action?

I don’t have any videos because it’s not my robot. My sister and her team was the one who built this. I could ask her but she’s always late to reply to me on anything.
